Ben White saw the funny side of an X-rated chant sang by Wolves fans during their defeat to Arsenal.
The Gunners produced a workmen-like performance to run out 2-0 winners at Molineux, with goals from Leandro Trossard and Martin Odegaard sending Arsenal back to the top of the table. White and his fellow defenders registered their sixth successive clean sheet away from home in the Premier League against an injury-ravaged Wolves side, and the Gunners right-back had to deal with something off the pitch, too.
During the second half, a section of home supporters were heard singing: "Ben White, your spray tan is sh**e." While the ball was out of play, White turned to the fans and applauded them, signalling to the Molineux crowd that their taunts weren't getting to him.
The ex-Brighton star, 26, then kept a cool head for the remainder of the game, staving off a valiant effort from Wolves to secure all three points for Arsenal. White and his team-mates had gone three games without a win, losing to Bayern Munich in the Champions League on Wednesday after a surprise loss at home to Aston Villa last weekend.
That's left their season at risk of collapsing right at the final hurdle, but the Gunners' response on Saturday proved that they aren't giving up on their Premier League title hopes without a fight. Current favourites Manchester City now have a game in hand and will be crowned champions for the fourth season in a row if they win all six of their remaining games.
Wenger breaks silence on Arsenal visit as he doubles down on title predictionArsenal forward Trossard broke the deadlock in the Black Country with a toe-poked strike on the brink of half-time. After a steely second-half showing, captain Odegaard wrapped up the win with a superb finish from a tight angle deep into injury time.
Goalkeeper David Raya needed to be on top form, though, producing an incredible reaction save before Trossard's opener which would've changed the course of the game. "We've been really consistent defensively and that's the platform needed to win games in this league," boss Mikel Arteta told Match of the Day.

"All we can do is win our games and when you see the form that we are in, in the calendar year, it is unbelievable and you are still not top but it's the quality of this league."
Arteta added: "It was a very good response, so proud of them. We reacted in the right way. We deserved to win the game and got another clean sheet again. Obviously disappointed to lose against Bayern, small margins but we have five games to go and we are top again. Even at 2-0 you are never sure and [Wolves] are a good side, they made some changes and caused us some problems."
