After announcing the devastating news of his wife Samantha's death, Warwick Davis is back in the spotlight with his Hollyoaks star daughter Annabelle.

Content creator Kris Fox Devos announced the news himself on Instagram earlier this month. In this post, the Harry Potter actor can be seen alongside the social media star and Annabelle standing in front of a black door. In another photo, Kris has then traded places with the Home Improvements UK hosts, Phil and Brad O'Riordan.

Kris captioned his post with an announcement as Warwick and Annabelle are due to appear in another instalment of the YouTube series. "Looking forward to starting this project and working together!", Kris wrote, sending many fans into a frenzy in the comment section. "Oh wow. I love him", one said, referring to the famous Harry Potter and Star Wars actor. "Oh my word now that's a proper legend love Warwick", another added.

Phil and Brad have grown accustomed to having celebs by their side - the pair broke the news that Coronation Street's Will Mellor had reached out to them in February, 2024, for a landscaping job in his garden. On March 24, they even released a video on their YouTube channel lifting the lid on the shed they had built for Jodie Marsh. That same day, tragedy struck in Warwick's home.

Breaking his silence on Thursday, April 18, the 54-year-old announced his beloved wife Samantha, with whom he shared his daughter Annabelle and son Harrison, had passed away on March 24, 2024. "Her passing has left a huge hole in our lives as a family. I miss her hugs", Warwick said in a heartbreaking statement. "She was a unique character, always seeing the sunny side of life she had a wicked sense of humour and always laughed at my bad jokes."

The loved-up pair became inseparable after locking eyes on the set of the George Lucas film Willow, when they were only teenagers. Warwick, then 17, had shot to fame thanks to his Ewok Wicket role in Star Wars: Return of the Jedi when sixteen-year-old Samantha, the daughter of Willow co-star Peter Burroughs, caught his eye. After three years of romance, Samantha and Warwick walked down the aisle in June, 1991. And their strong connection was only solidified by the tragedies they faced.

Warwick, who was born with Spondyloepiphyseal dysplasia congenita (SED), an extremely rare genetic form of dwarfism, has shared how the combination of his condition with Samantha achondroplasia - a bone growth disorder that causes disproportionate dwarfism - resulted in the deaths of two of their children, Lloyd and George.

Lloyd died nine days after his birth as his lungs were said to be too small to support normal function. His brother George, on the other hand, passed away when Samantha was 19 weeks pregnant. Speaking to Bear Grylls during a 2019 TV special, Warwick admitted that both tragedies had made his bond with Samantha stronger.

"Prior to Annabelle and Harrison we had a baby boy, Lloyd, who inherited both our conditions… and that is something that proves fatal", he initially explained. "It's something that a baby won't survive. But Lloyd survived for nine days, but yeah he was beautiful. It was a tough time. And yeah, we had a stillborn too. That kind of stuff just makes you stronger."
