The singer, 39, became a father for the first time, with his wife welcoming the bundle of joy on April 17, 2024, but he was torn away from the new-born by his job commitments, as the opening act for Take That with their joint tour across the country kicking off at the Utilita Arena in Sheffield on April 13.
But this Sunday, April 21, after several nights away and a show in Leeds, the Heart Skips a Beat singer made the most of break from the stage to share a snap of little Madison on his Instagram account. The adorable picture shows the young baby sleeping in her cot, with her tiny feet facing the camera. "Bless Madi i think she’s got her Dad's feet", Olly quipped in the caption. And his fans went wild over the shot.
"She’s so adorable", one of them gushed while another echoed: "it’s too sweet! ENJOY." A third fan took to the comments to congratulate Olly and his wife Amelia: "Enjoy every minute of her massive congratulations to you both." While on stage in Leeds, the star had given the crowd an update on his baby, announcing he was performing as a father for the first time.
"I'm going to try and not get emotional. Little Madison is doing really well", he had then said, "she’s at home with my lovely wife and it’s a real honour to be here. I wasn’t going to leave you guys hanging tonight, I’ll rush home to see the baby." Olly also admitted that he hadn't enjoyed having to be away from his family: "We are over the moon and just full of love. It was so horrible to say goodbye to Madison this morning and Amelia. But the show must go on. I can't believe I am a dad."
