The Princess of Wales once revealed a cookery skill she loves to share with her children - and it sounds delicious.
Kate, Princess of Wales has said that her children, Prince George and Princess Charlotte, really like to make their own pizza. Back when she was the Duchess of Cambridge, she visited St Luke's Community Centre with Prince William in 2018, where she helped prepare food for their upcoming Commonwealth Big Lunch.
Speaking to Commonwealth member Yolanda from Bolivia, the Princess said: " I've done that with George and Charlotte – making pizza dough. They love it because they can get their hands messy."
Later, she repeated to an interpreter at the event that she "really enjoys" making pizza dough with her children. Chef Matt Jones, who was at the event in 2018, said that the day had been "fantastic." He added: "As we got them to decorate our dishes Kate said she cooked with her kids but that it sometimes got a bit messy."
It comes as the Princess of Wales shocked people when she previously disclosed her pizza topping of choice - and its a controversial one for many. While it isn't pineapple (a choice that will split the nation) she did cause some eyebrows to raise when she said that she enjoys a particular meat on her pizza.
Meghan Markle 'to unleash her own memoirs' as Prince Harry's drops next weekIn 2019, the Princess of Wales was all smiles when she joined a group of children in a pizza-making session at Islington's Community Garden. Getting stuck into kneading dough, the royal mother-of-three was asked if the Queen eats pizza, according to HELLO! Magazine.
She said: "That is such a good question. I don't know… maybe next time I see her I should ask." Then, she told the children that her topping of choice was bacon, as she finds pepperoni a spicy meat.
The Princess of Wales said: Does anyone ever put bacon on a pizza? Bacon’s great. Do you not think that sounds good? I quite like that actually…It’s like having pepperoni but it’s not as spicy. "
