Prince Harry and his brother Prince William haven't truly been content in each other's presence since a pivotal moment six years ago.

The Royal wedding of Harry and Meghan Markle in 2018 was a day brimming with happiness for the newlyweds and William was Harry's best man. Yet, it seems that this occasion marked the last time Harry and William genuinely enjoyed each other's company, as royal author Robert Hardman shares a poignant reflection on their relationship. Mr Hardman claims their brotherly unity at the wedding carries a sombre significance today, as he noted the significance of their bond during the nuptials.

He said: "With the benefit of hindsight, we're left feeling it was one of the last times they were happy in each other's company. You can't help looking back and thinking what might have been, but at the time it all felt very relaxed and friendly."

Other figures present were the Duke of York, Sarah, Duchess of York, Princesses Beatrice and Eugenie, Zara and Mike Tindall, Earl and Countess of Wessex Edward and Sophie, with their children, along with Peter and Autumn Phillips. Persons from the Middleton and Parker Bowles families added to the line-up too.

Meghan's mother Doria Ragland held high prominence as a guest at the wedding ceremony. However, two days prior to the gala, it was made public that Meghan's father Thomas Markle would forgo the ritual owing to health issues.

Prince Charles ended up escorting Meghan quite a distance on the aisle in his place. Prince Harry kept his beard for the occasion, courtesy of special permission from Queen Elizabeth. He arrived with best man William, donned in crisp Blues and Royals frock-coat uniforms, just past 11.30am at the chapel.- As Meghan entered the chapel, her entourage consisted of six bridesmaids and four page boys, among them were Prince George and Princess Charlotte, along with the offspring of close friends.

When the duo, Harry and Meghan, voiced their "I will" vows and exchanged rings, hearty cheers filled the chapel location, inciting giggles amongst the couple and those gathered. After being declared man and wife and signing the register, they thrilled their fans by sharing a kiss on the chapel steps.
