NFL Draft hopeful, Oregon quarterback Bo Nix, has reportedly become the only player to have met with all 32 teams in the NFL during the pre-draft process.

In the run-up to the draft, NFL teams are permitted to meet with just 30 prospects from a pool of over 400 who declare for the draft, prioritising those they hope to select if available. Intriguingly, Nix is the sole player to have met with every team, indicating interest from each franchise.

A five-year starter throughout his college career, Nix will be one of the oldest players in the class, having had an extra year at school due to the COVID year granting students an additional year of eligibility.

Nix spent three years at Auburn before experiencing difficulties in his final year and transferring to Oregon. After a solid first season with the Ducks, Nix's 'super senior' year saw him deliver the best performance of his career - throwing for 45 touchdowns with just three interceptions in one of college football's most dynamic offenses.

Nix finished third in the Heisman Trophy race, behind Michael Penix Jr in second place and Jayden Daniels who clinched the award - both quarterbacks are expected to be selected in the first round alongside Nix.

However, unlike Nix, Penix Jr, Daniels and other quarterback prospects may have a clearer idea of who will draft them - or at least be able to narrow down the field. Daniels is expected to be snapped up by the Washington Commanders with the second overall pick, while Penix Jr has been in talks with around 10-12 teams during the process.

Nix was initially viewed as the third-best quarterback behind Caleb Williams and Drake Maye coming into the pre-draft process. However, his draft stock has taken a hit in recent weeks - with some predicting he could experience a Will Levis-style tumble out of the first round.

ProFootballTalk reports that Nix is the most likely of the six quarterback prospects expected to be taken in the first round to slide down the draft boards.

The Denver Broncos, who hold the 12th overall pick, are frequently tipped to select Nix. Choosing the Oregon quarterback would make sense for the team, especially since they haven't made any significant moves following their surprising release of Russell Wilson - just two years after they paid a king's ransom to acquire him from the Seattle Seahawks.
