Ronan Keating has branded Louis Walsh a "jealous bullsh***er" as their bitter feud was reignited on Celebrity Big Brother.

It started after housemate Louis took a swipe at Ronan, who he used to manage as part of Nineties boy band Boyzone and later as a solo artist in the Noughties. As Ronan’s hit song Life Is A Rollercoaster played in the Big Brother house earlier this week, Louis quipped: “Great song,” before laying into his former act and adding: “He was such a pr***.”

Outspoken Louis, 71, then went on to say of 47-year-old Ronan: “Everybody thinks he’s a lovely guy, do you know what I mean? He hasn’t had a hit record since I left. He sacked me.”

Now Ronan has reportedly had his say on the matter and claimed he had “no choice” but to sack his former music manager. At the height of their feud in 2006 he gave an interview to celebrity journalist Rob McGibbon, which has now been unearthed, and it includes some scathing comments about Louis.

In the tape, obtained by The Sun, Ronan launches into a blistering rant where he says of Louis: “He hurt me, he really hurt me and he knows it. I don’t have any time for the guy. We’re a million miles from each other. I don’t have any respect for Louis, because he has none for me. He was very jealous of me. I had to sack him because he wouldn’t manage me. He’s a very selfish character. It’s bullsh** man. He’s a bullsh***er.”

And it’s not the first time Louis has made a swipe at Ronan. In an interview with Q Magazine in 2012, he called him “talentless and spoiled” and said fame had gone to Ronan's head. He said: "His head got turned by having nice hotels and chauffeur-driven cars, and he thought he could write songs. If you're Ronan Keating, who was working in a shoe shop when I discovered him, but end up thinking you're George Michael, then you need to be stopped."

Then in August 2013, around the time of Boyzone's 20th anniversary, Louis told The Times Ronan was a "little manufactured popstar who actually believed his own publicity". He added: "Ronan thought he was George Michael... He said he didn't want to be a karaoke artist. Well that's what he is."

During an interview with Magic FM’s Magic in the Morning Breakfast Show, Ronan hit back at Louis’ comments saying: "He was very important to me as a mentor and I'm grateful for the opportunities he gave me, because I wouldn't be here without them.

“But there’s only so much you can give back and be so grateful, and for that not to be appreciated or respected. Really he should just move on and be happy and grateful for what he's achieved – he's had a great career. It's no life to be bitter and talk negatively about people – it festers in your soul."
