Christine McGuinness has issued a strong worded message about romance rumours with Duncan James.
The model and TV star, 36, separated from her husband Paddy McGuinness, 50, in 2022. She has continued to live with the Take Me Out host as they co-parent their three children. Christine was just 19-years-old when she started dating Paddy and they walked down the aisle in 2011.
The pair have not gone public with any new romances, however Christine previously revealed they are "very open" with each other and that Paddy tells her when he's going on a date. Last year, Christine appeared to tease she was going on a date with Duncan James, after meeting on ITV 's Strictly The Real Full Monty in 2021.
At the time, she insisted they were "mates" yet she has been faced with more speculation from fans that they are more than friends. One follower asked Christine: "When are you going to admit your in a relationship with Duncan James lol." Christine responded: "When are people going to accept that men and women can be friends."
Christine previously had to clarify her relationship with the Blue singer. She said: "Loads of you are saying 'oh I'm so happy for you' that I was on a date. It was my mate. Duncan's my friend. Duncan's got a gorgeous partner. I love them both. But yeah, I was only taking the p*** when I said 'I'm on a date.' I don't like dates. Not doing dates. Absolutely not."

The mum-of-three shared her catch-up with Duncan, 46, as she said in a video: "Oh my voice keeps going. I've been talking all night. I laughed so much. It was really good. [A] really good night." During an exclusive interview with the Mirror last year, Christine commented: "Actual dating I can't think of anything worse.

Last month, the Real Housewives of Cheshire star revealed she is enjoying having time to herself "for the first time". She has admitted it has been "so freeing" to not have to "tell anyone where I'm going or what I'm doing".
“I don’t see myself getting married again. I just don’t. I’ve never had time to myself," she told The Sun. "I was with Patrick since I was 19 and now I’m single for the first time in a long time. People are kind of ‘Oh, you must be out there having fun and going on dates and having a great time’, but I’m thinking ‘No, I’ve got time for myself for the first time’."
She also appeared on Loose Women where she confessed: "I want to spend time with my children. I just want to be with me, I’ve always been a loner, I quite like being in my own company." Christine and Paddy are parents to twins Penelope and Leo, ten, and Felicity, seven, who all have autism.
Christine also shared how her ex husband is 'free to date' again. “We’re both single, and he’s entitled to go and date if he wants to, that’s completely his business. And it’s not my business at all, you know, and the same for me,” she said. “It’s just I feel it’s not the right time. But I’m not totally against it. And if he wants to date, he’s completely single and he can, I don’t feel anything towards it. You know, it’s his life, it’s his private life, and he can do what he wants. I can’t complain about it. No, absolutely not.”
