Christine McGuinness is to launch a fashion line after splitting from Top Gear star husband Paddy.
The model, who regularly features on best-dressed lists, will work on her brand with a pal. The business is already listed at Companies House.
It comes after former Take Me Out host Paddy, 49, had his BBC shows Catchpoint and I Can See Your Voice axed.
Christine, 34, has already carved out a career as a TV star on The Real Housewives of Cheshire
In 2021, she published her memoir A Beautiful Nightmare, and was widely praised for opening up about her and the couple’s three children’s autism diagnoses.
Paddy& Christine McGuinness reunite for New Year's Day family outingWhile Christine already has a sportswear line, Vibe By Christine, a new company CC346 was last month set up with her friend Catherine Farrell.
It will sell clothing in specialist retailers. A source said: “Christine has always been independent, but now she wants to be her own boss, too.
“It’s an exciting time for her.”
Last month, Christine said she and Paddy “still get on” and remain in the same house because their children rely so much on a regular routine.
But the model admitted “faking” being the perfect wife during her 11-year marriage to Paddy.
Filming of Paddy’s show Top Gear has been paused after co-host Freddie Flintoff was injured in a crash. Paddy still hosts Question of Sport for the Beeb too.
He and Christine split after 15 years together in July, saying in a joint statement: “Our main focus as always is to continue loving and supporting our children.
“This was not an easy decision to make but we’re moving forward as the best parents we can be.
“We’ll always be a loving family, we still have a great relationship.”
