The British tourist who died after falling from the balcony of his Turkish hotel has now been named and pictured.

Antony 'Tony' Maxwell, 22, reportedly fell from the balcony of his hotel room after an alleged argument with his 33-year-old girlfriend. He was rushed to hospital in serious condition and died from his injuries shortly after being admitted. The victim's girlfriend was reportedly taken to a police station and the local courthouse. She was then released, reports say.

There are currently no further details from Turkish media regarding the incident, but a fundraiser has been set up for a man who died in Turkey on GoFundMe. The fundraiser, set up by a family friend, reads: "On the 18th of April Jade Maxwell recieved a heart breaking phone call informing her, that her beautiful boy had tragically been killed whilst on holiday in Turkey. For any mother this news is unbearable, but for this family, she has to stay strong for his two younger siblings and grieve her son who is currently still in a foreign country."
