Jamie Laing has expressed excitement this week over an announcement, with him having posted about there being a new addition to his family in the coming months.

The radio host, 35 - who rose to fame on Made in Chelsea - has reacted to the news that his sister-in-law Georgia Habboo is expecting a baby with her husband Tom Berry. Makeup artist Georgia, who is the sister of Jamie's wife Sophie Habboo, 30, shared the news on Instagram on Tuesday.

Georgia took to the platform with a photos of herself cradling her baby bump at an event, including alongside her husband. Her post also showcased positive pregnancy tests and Tom was also seen holding up some scan photos. There was also footage of her sharing the news with some relatives.

The post was shared on Georgia's own birthday, with her describing the pregnancy as the "best" gift. She wrote in the caption that accompanied the post this week: "Best birthday gift ever." She added: "Baby girl Berry due this autumn." Jamie reacted to the news on his Instagram Story, by sharing his sister-in-law's post and adding a comment alongside it. The BBC Radio 1 presenter wrote in his response on the platform: "We have a new member coming to the family."

His wife Sophie also addressed the announcement shared by her sister this week. She shared the post on her account and marked her sibling's birthday in the caption. Sophie wrote: "Happy birthday to my best friend and my favourite person in the world. I love you and baby Berry so much."

The post has amassed more than 30,000 likes since it was uploaded on Tuesday morning. Among those who have liked the post shared by Georgia this week are Love Island winner Amber Davies and finalist Scott Thomas, as well as former Strictly Come Dancing cast member Oti Mabuse.

Georgia was met with well wishes in the comments section of the post from a number of her followers. Jamie was among those who commented on the post itself, with him having reacted by sharing a series of heart emojis in response. Others congratulated Georgia and shared excitement over the news in the comments section. One person wrote: "Ahh this is amazing news! Congratulations to both of you!" Someone else reacted: "Huge congratulations guys."

"So happy for you both! You're going to be the best mum," another response to the announcement read. Whilst one person said to Georgia in the comments section on Instagram recently: "This is amazing. Congratulations my love."

Another person commented: "Omg so so happy for you." Whilst someone else responded: "The best news - so happy for you both." And one follower wrote: "Aww that's lovely - congratulations." Another said: "Wonderful news."
