'Out of touch' Kim Kardashian slammed for making assistants carry out odd task

Kim Kardashian has opened up on a weird routine she has - and fans aren't impressed.

The reality TV star, 43, appeared on Jimmy Kimmel Live! and discussed rumours of her apparent quirks, admitting some are true. One such request comes in the form of how she drinks her daily coffee.

The SKIMS founder revealed she can only take her daily Starbucks one way. She told the host how she insists on her aides removing the heat-minimising cardboard sleeve rub that is added to the takeaway cups for their coffee.

Following rumours of her habit spreading online, Jimmy asked the star: "You have someone take the Starbucks sleeve off your coffee because you hate the sound of cardboard?"

Kim honestly admitted this was true, saying: "Yes, it’s true, and I hate the feeling, like the sound," before saying whoever is with her removes the sleeve when she's not looking. "Like the cardboard getting moved off of the cup is like nails on a chalkboard to me," she added.

The response wasn't met kindly online, with many calling her actions "ridiculous". One user on Twitter /X blasted: "This is so absolutely out of touch with reality."

It wasn't the only quirky habit Kim acknowledged on the show. She also revealed it's true she makes sure her jewellery has been heated up prior to her putting it on. Kim told Jimmy: "I hate being freezing and when you put on cold jewellery or anything with a zipper I just need it warmed and then to put it on."

An expert previously told the Mirror this action can also help keep her bling sparkling. Ben Roberts, who's the boss at Clogau, said: "That dreaded cold feeling when you initially put on your jewellery is not fun for anybody, but by having her team give her accessories a quick blast with the hairdryer, Kim is adding an extra layer of luxury to her routine. She can really feel like an A-lister by getting rid of those cold shocks, and making her jewels feel even more special."
