The idea for the books came up after the birth of their second child.

After putting their creative minds together, and Jeremy’s sketching skills to the test, Colour Your Streets was born.

They have published at least 30 books.

Their website states: "After walking our pram around Brixton with our newborn daughter, we started photographing our favourite local spots in south London, creating a record of this magical and sleep-deprived time.

"Wanting to share these memories with our 5-year-old son, we suddenly had an idea: what if he could colour in the pictures?

"We gave the finished product to our boy, with a new pack of colouring pencils. He loved it. Colour Your Streets was born."

Emma and Jeremy added: "What started as a love letter to our local area, is now growing; allowing more people to colour in where they live and love.

"Let’s fill our streets with colour."

On March 20, 2024, the couple launched Colour In Manchester, the latest in their lines of books.

Emma posted on Instagram: "We are adding more neighbourhoods each week with the help of local people filled with ideas of what mural, statue and bit of the park we should photograph in their ends.

"People are rightly so proud of where they live and come from.

"Plus I think after the Covid lockdowns, many of us have dug even harder into our local areas."

She is also very proud of her book, Period, which details her life with the illness.

Emma was announced as the presenter of BBC Radio 4's 45-minute programme Woman's Hour in September 2020.

The journalist was already associated with the radio show, having presented its late-night spin-off, and regularly chairing the Woman's Hour Power List.

Born on February 5, 1985, Emma first hosted the show at the age of 26, making her the youngest presenter in the radio programme's entire history.

In March 2024, she stepped down to take on the new challenge of joining the team at the Today programme.

She revealed the shake-up on Instagram with a heartfelt post, saying: "Deep breath: Some work news… I am leaving the mighty mothership @bbcwomanshour and joining the Today programme on BBC Radio 4 and making more TV shows with my big interviews and some new documentaries across the BBC.

"It was a big decision and here are some of my thoughts which the BBC has just published… more to say soon.

"We are living in volatile times where sometimes even asking a question can seem risky - wrongly so.

"My ambition on the @bbctodayprogramme is to keep asking the questions that listeners want answers to - as well as raising many smiles along the way - while armed with a very strong cup of tea.

"I am delighted to be joining a programme that occupies such a unique space in British life and to also have the opportunity to expand my work across BBC TV and News."
