SHOPPERS are eagerly awaiting Iceland's latest must-have breakfast item said to be perfect for morning fry-ups.

Iceland is introducing a new version of hash browns, and this might be their biggest yet.

Customers will soon be able to grab two "plate-sized" hash browns from their nearest Iceland store.

The popular accompaniment to a full English breakfast has got shoppers across the UK raving on social media.

NewFoodsUK, posted the new item on Facebook and Instagram, with hundreds of hungry customers excited to see the supersized offering hit the shelves.

"I really hope they have this at my local Iceland," one shopper wrote.

"Is this even real?" said another in disbelief.

While this shopper jokingly added: "That's why mums go to Iceland."

Some customers found it hard to contain their excitement.

"Holy F**kballs," said an Iceland fan.

They added: "I've just died and gone to heaven.

"Duck egg on top and I would be put for the count."

It is unclear how big the hash browns will be once they hit the Iceland shelves but on the packaging, it is marked as "actual size".

That hasn't stopped hash brown lovers from raving about the new product.

"Look at this gorgeous creature - I think I'm in love," a shopper said.

Another simply stated: "Breakfast is sorted."

These supersized hash browns are expected to hit the shelves in early April and will cost shoppers just £2.

"You need these in your life for a weekend brekkie," an excited customer wrote.

While another said: "Now this is what you call my kind of food."

Andrew Staniland, Group Buying Director at Iceland & The Food Warehouse said: "We’re so excited for the launch of the Iceland Ridiculously Crispy two Plate Sized Hash Browns.

"Customers will officially be able to get their hands on the giant hash browns from early April for only £2.00 – the perfect product to create the ultimate fry-up."

It comes after Iceland revealed it was making a major change in its stores which has divided shoppers.

And Martin Lewis' Money Saving Expert has revealed how you can get a whopping £6 off pampers in six major stores.
