BEAUTY fans were made-up to hear that Scotland was getting its first ever standalone Charlotte Tilbury store.
And so they should be - because it is stunning.
Upstairs is packed full of make-up favesThere's lots of quirky details insideThe decor downstairs is more plushThis little room is perfect for a gals day outAfter the success of Charlotte Tilbury MBE’s Beauty Wonderlands in the likes of London, Liverpool and Los Angeles, the entrepreneur is launching a new Glasgow store in Buchanan Street.
We got to have a sneak peak inside before the official opening today.
The store is set over two floors with all the brand's favourites on display upstairs, including an entire counter devoted to Charlotte's famous Magic Cream - the viral moisturising product which kicked off her business.
How to de-clutter if you have a beauty stash to last you a lifetimeThe idea behind the store is to be an easy-to-choose, easy-to-use, easy-to-gift beauty destination where customers will be able to shop Charlotte’s award-winning, best-selling skincare and make-up.
And this is evident on the first floor where it's super bright inside, with lots of light features, making it the perfect place to try on some of the goods.
Downstairs feels much more cosy, with a boudoir aesthetic and lots of soft, velvet furnishings.
There's lots of quirky little details, like striped pink wallpaper, neon lipstick wall art and a sofa that's ideal for an Insta moment, scattered throughout.
This is where beauty fans can explore all of Charlotte's red-carpet secrets and seek expert advice from an incredible team of experienced retail artists.
We got a chance to be colour matched at the opening event, and it was an eye-opener. I was paired with a new foundation which was weightless and dewy on my skin - and is sure to become my new make-up bag staple.
Meanwhile, I tried a pink-toned lipstick colour, from the brand's new range, that I'd usually swerve and was delighted with the results.
As well as shopping, customers can also enjoy in-store glow facials and bespoke consultations. The treatment room is bright white but doesn't feel stark, rather it feels clean and fresh.
A shop spokeswoman said: "An ultimate gifting destination for all beauty lovers, the new Glasgow store will be stocked with Charlotte’s trinkets, treats and treasures to satisfy everyone’s wish lists."
We've put shampoos and conditioners to the test to help your hair glimmerIf last night's packed event was anything to go by, it's bound to be busy for the opening today - but it's worth battling the crowds as it's an absolute must-visit for any make-up fan.
