KATE’S cancer diagnosis is a huge blow for someone so young but her brave decision to share the news will be a huge boost for public awareness.
In her video message she spoke about other patients, saying: “At this time I am thinking of all those lives affected by cancer.

Kensington Palace has not revealed Kate’s exact condition, but the most common forms of the disease in the abdomen for women in their 40s are bowel, cervical and womb cancers.
The fact she is undergoing preventative chemotherapy suggests the tumour was caught early.

“It shows you are quite literally never too young – yes it is less common to get cancer under 50 but you still can.”
NHS boss Amanda Pritchard said: “On behalf of the NHS, I’m really sorry to hear this shocking news.
“Our thoughts are with the Princess of Wales and the Royal Family.
"Speaking out about it is really brave and it can help others.”
