GREG Rutherford has been dealt a new blow with his illness leaving him bed bound again.
The 37-year-old, who had to pull out of the Dancing On Ice final last month due to an injury, has also been told that his dog tragically has just days left to live.
His fiancé Susie Verrill took to her Instagram Story yesterday to share both pieces of news with fans.
Uploading a photo of Greg asleep in bed with their daughter Daphne, two, she told how he'd been diagnosed with whooping cough.
Susie wrote: "Both of these two are poorly still - @gregjrutherford went to the docs & turns out he has whooping cough. Daph apparently doesn't but is still under the weather."

In her next Story, the magazine editor announced their family dog Gus had been diagnosed with terminal cancer.
She penned, "And then we've had a really sad time with our lovely Gus :( We were called by the vets to say goodbye to him a couple of days ago because it turns out he has a tumour in his intestines & lymph nodes, not spleen as we first thought.
"We prepared ourselves for lots of cuddles and to leave him there, but he made it very, very clear he wanted to come home.
"So he's back with us; eating every treat going and still wanting to go on walks. We're taking it hour by hour and just enjoying the time we have left with him.
"It's awful but we're grateful we're getting these moments to show him how much we love him."
Susie, who also shares Milo, eight, and Rex, five, with the Olympian, posted a video of the clan giving Gus belly rubs.
Greg shared the devastating news about his pooch earlier this week.
The star explained that he had noticed changes in Gus' behaviour and wanted to go and get him checked out.
Greg wrote to fans: "Sorry to use Insta as Google but always prefer recommendations etc for this sort of thing.
"We got home to find out our lovely Gus is poorly. A visit to our local vet showed he has a mass on his spleen that can be operated on.

"He's lethargic and not quite himself, which is why we knew something was wrong. Normally he behaves like a pup!"
The long jump athlete continued: "The vets we visited were quite quick to say oh well ... we don't know he'll survive the operation to remove it.
"Unfortunately the vet who previously knew Gus well left, so it kind of feels like they're going off the back of locums seeing him and how he is at the moment."
He then asked if anyone could offer any advice about the matter.
He said: "Does anyone local to us have any suggestions of where we could take him for a second opinion?
"Vet's have called this morning & confirmed they're not happy to operate, but yet again it's a new locum who hasn't actually seen him.
"In no way moaning about them, we just want to give our normally very healthy dog a chance :("
After asking for help, he opened up about his siberian husky's beautiful relationship with his young daughter Daphne.
"Daphne and her best doggy friend.
"Gus is such a wonderful boy. So patient with her and constantly following Daphne around giving her kisses.
"These moments always make me so happy… and as with the second photo, always make me laugh."
Greg missed out on winning this year's Dancing On Ice after an accident just hours before going live.
Earlier this month, he showed off his scar and swelling for the operation he had after slashing his stomach open.
Days before, Greg sparked concern after 'vanishing' from social media after his his surgery.
