CAMERON Diaz and her husband Benji Madden have announced the birth of their second child, a baby boy.
Diaz and Benji shared the happy news in an Instagram post on Friday night while also revealing their son's name.
"We are blessed and excited to announce the birth of our Son, Cardinal Madden," Benji wrote in a joint post on both his and Diaz's Instagrams.
"He is awesome and We are all so happy he is here!
"For the kids safety and privacy we won’t be posting any pictures - but he’s a really cute," the beaming father continued.

The warm message was posted alongside a colorful drawing with the words "A little bird whispered to me" written at the top.
"We are feeling so blessed and grateful. Sending much love from our fam to yours. Best wishes and Good Afternoon!!" Benji concluded.
BABY BROTHER
Diaz, 51, and Madden, 45, already have plenty of experience parenting thanks to their 4-year-old daughter, Raddix.
She was born on January 3, 2020, via surrogacy and was welcomed into the family with a social media announcement just like her little brother.
"Happy New Year from the Maddens!" the couple wrote at the time.
"We are so happy, blessed, and grateful to begin this new decade by announcing the birth of our daughter, Raddix Madden.
"She has instantly captured our hearts and completed our family."
A LOVE STORY
Diaz and Benji fell in love after they were introduced to one another by their sister-in-law, Nicole Richie, at a dinner party.
Richie is married to Benji's twin brother, Joel Madden, and they share two children.
"It was one of those things where everyone tells you, 'You just know when you know,'" Diaz said.

"He walked in the door, and I was like, 'you!' Then I saw him again and I thought, 'Wait a second, still hot!'" she said.
She got engaged to Madden in December 2014.
Diaz and Madden tied the knot at their home in Beverly Hills, California, on January 5, 2015.
FAMILY PLANNING
Diaz announced that she planned to take a step back from acting in 2022 to focus more on her family despite being one of the highest-paid women in the industry.
"I’ve given more than half of my life to the public. I feel it’s OK for me to take time for myself now," Cameron told InStyle during a 2020 hiatus from acting.
A source told RadarOnline the former actress turned down “dozens” of roles over the past few years.
“It’s no exaggeration to say she could have banked up to $100 million or even more if she’d been working instead of resting and planning her domestic future," the insider said.
Madden continues to be a member of the rock group Good Charlotte but has spent less time making music in recent years as his family has grown.

The viral Instagram post announcing Cardinal Madden's arrival into the family received over 30,000 likes in the first hour it was shared.
"Congratulations! Adorable announcement, love the picture," one fan wrote.
"Thrilled for you! Congratulations and enjoy your sweet addition to your family!" another fan posted.
Some fans also complimented the couple's unique choice of names for their children.
"Cool name. Cardinal and Sparrow!" one fan wrote referencing Richie and Joel Madden's son (and Cardinal's cousin) named Sparrow.
They also saw love from Joel and other celebrities like Pete Wentz, who shared three sparkle emojis on the post.
