Stranger Things actor Matthew Modine is going to have a special job at Millie Bobby Brown's wedding - surprisingly, he'll be the one to marry her and her boyfriend, Jake Bongiovi.
Millie became famous for playing Eleven in Stranger Things and Matthew played Dr. Brenner, who was like a dad to her character. Now, Matthew will help Millie, who is 20, and Jake, who is 21, become husband and wife. Jake's dad is the famous singer Jon Bon Jovi.
Matthew revealed this week: "I have one of those licences to get people married and Millie thought it'd be great and then Jake said it would be a great idea." He added to Access Hollywood: "So I wrote the wedding vows and they loved what I wrote for them to join hands and to become husband and wife." Matthew himself has been married for 44 years.
Meanwhile, Millie previously said she didn't think she wanted to be a wife before meeting her fiancé, who changed her mind. "My dream was to have a baby. I wanted to be the woman that my mum is to me and I wanted to be the woman that my grandmother was to me," the mirror.co.uk/all-about/netflix>Netflix star explained to Glamour.
"So that was never my intention, to be a wife. But after meeting Jake and seeing, 'Oh, I don't have to be this stereotypical wife for him', he doesn't want me to be that either. He wants me to go and do my thing and live my life, and he will hold my hand in the process of that. I was like, 'Oh, I do want this'."
