Shakira has taken another swipe at her ex, former Barcelona footballer Gerard Pique, after she got cosy with Kerry Katona's ex in a steamy video for her new single.
The 47-year-old Latin singer has taken aim at Gerard, 37, in the lyrics on her new album, after they split in June 2022 following 11 years together, in which they shared two sons, Milan, 11, and Sasha, nine, before she discovered Gerard's affair with him now moving in model girlfriend Clara Chia Marti, 25, into the home he used to share with Shakira.
The Colombian singer released her 12th album, Las Muieres Ya No Lloran, on Friday after saying that being with Gerard was dragging her down creatively. She has used the lyrics to take veiled digs at her ex and his new girlfriend, with her singing "I'm too big for you, that's why you're with someone just like you" on her track Shakira: Bzrp Music Sessions, Vol. 53. with Argentine DJ Bizarrap.
Singing in Spanish, Shakira has also had her lyrics of another song translated as: "This is for me to mortify you, chew and swallow so it doesn't sting, I won't return to you anymore even if you cry or beg me. I understood that it's not my fault that they criticize you, I only make music, sorry that I splashed you."

You forgot what you used to be. Distant with your attitude, and that filled me with worry. You didn't give even half. I know I gave more than you."

While the singer also shares in her lyrics that the split had to happen, especially after she discovered that Gerard had cheated: "It's a necessary goodbye. What used to be incredible became routine. Your lips don't taste of anything to me. Now it's the complete opposite."
The singer has also been seen cosying up to Kerry Katona's ex, Lucien Laviscount, who she met on Celebrity Big Brother. Shakira posted a snap from her video for a new single as she was intimately posed with the topless Waterloo Road actor. "Afinando el tiro con @its_lucien en Punteria #LMYNL” she captioned the hot pictures. (In English: ("Fine-tuning the shot with @its_lucien in Punteria #LMYNL.")," the singer captioned the images on Instagram earlier this week.

Speaking to Zane Lowe on his Apple Music 1 show, the singer said: "I thought love would be there for ever for me, and that's one of my broken dreams. I don't know if I'd like to find that again. Probably not.
"I've always been in a couple, but then when that wasn't there, and when I had to face the darkest moments of my life, friends were there and kept me together. I might not grow old with a partner, but I will grow old surrounded by good friends."
