Our tech expert spot's five unexpected items you may want to catch before the sale ends
Snail Slime skincare
Number one on Amazon's top-selling beauty list is the COSRX Advanced Snail Mucin, also known as slime in our shopping team. personally the thought of this still makes my skin crawl but we've seen flying 'better than botox' reviews for this £11 Korean beauty product. And it tops our roundup with the most purchases this month, as more than 10,000 people have bought a bottle to try for themselves.
Crocs
(Image: Amazon) You either love them or hate them, as our team lovingly refers to them as the marmite in the fashion world - personally, I could only wear these around the house, at a push, but a huge number of shoppers love these spongy slides (including our very own Narin Flanders). And the Amazon stats show.
Currently sitting at number 1 (yes you read that right) at the top of the bestselling fashion list, a whopping one thousand pairs of these have been sold in the past month. With more than 500,000 ratings (82% of that are five star), we can see why they're surging in the sales at a much cheaper £27.50 price.
Wearable microfibre towel....for your dog
This £26 drying coat may be the solution for many pet owners... I know I'll be forwarding it on for my parents to buy for our mucky Jack Russell crosses. Anyone with a pooch will know the struggle of trying to get them back inside the house, or worse in the car, without wrecking every surface imaginable with their muck.
This wearable microfibre coat will keep them dry without the fuss. It's made out of absorbent material, can be machine washed, has an underbelly strap, and comes in a range of sizes to suit different breeds.
Bundles of Easter chocolate....Lindt galore
Picking up an Easter egg for a loved one is usually most people's go-to during the weekly food shop, but Amazon is proving more popular than usual. And it's mainly down to its cheaper prices. This Lindt Chocolate Easter Egg bundle would set you back £26 usually but it's now been cut to £19.... for the 260g egg and bundle of truffles.
Sounds Fishy Board Game
Think quick-fire answers, bluffing, and a super poker face, this family-favourite board game is soaring on Amazon, with more than 800 buys in the last month alone. Now £13, this hilarious game (which I can back, as it's a reached for one in our house) will test your inventing skills, while making up answers in a bid not to get caught. Can you convince the guesser your answer is the right one?
This one may not be as quite unexpected, if we do say so ourselves, but arguably in a niche of its own. A similar trend during last year's Black Friday sales, where the classic Exploding Kittens soared in the sales.
Double-chin reducing face mask
Our last pick on the other hand is most definitely bizarre, and surprisingly this double-chin batting face mask has had more than 100 sales this event alone. At £5.99 it's a relatively inexpensive price to pay to see if this stretchy garment will help tighten the skin around your chin and neck. The Amazon listing states that it will help 'reduce sagging' and the idea is you wear it throughout the day, whether you're working from home, or winding down to a film.
