Ekin-Su Cülcüloğlu was all smiles and snapping selfies when she was pictured for the first time since dropping out of the Celebrity Big Brother final on Tuesday.
The Love Island star, 29, was subject to a lot of trolling over her appearance on the revived reality show and further angered fans when she tried to blame 'the edit' after her eviction. She was due to appear at the live show with her fellow housemates but dropped out following her 'car crash' stint on the show.
Ekin-Su, who steered clear of the spotlight since coming out of the Big Brother house, recently admitted it was her choice not to appear as she did not want to put herself in another 'uncomfortable' situation. She added she wanted to take the time 'to reflect' on the situation.
And now, the star broke her cover with a trip to the gym in London this week. She was seen smiling at fans as she left the establishment wearing a leather trench coat over her nude leggings and black sports bra. The star also rocked a pair of pink and white trainers for her workout session and took photos of herself.
Ekin-Su let her brown locks flow down her shoulder and she also rocked a navy Miami Beach cap. At one point, the Turkish actress stopped to take a quick selfie on her phone. Last week, Ekin-Su explained her decision to skip out on the CBB final - which saw David Potts being crowned the winner. The star retreated from the limelight after being grilled about her antics in the house by hosts AJ Adudu and Will Best.
Davina McCall still talks to three Big Brother stars and felt bad for Jade GoodyWhen she was evicted from the house, she looked devastated to be leaving and was stunned to be hit with accusations of 'bratty' behaviour and entitlement on the outside. Breaking cover for the first time in over a week, Ekin Su explained: "I know it’s unlike me to hide away, but I’ve been taking some time to reflect."
She continued: "Sometimes in our lowest moments, we learn the most important lessons about ourselves. I hope you don’t think I was selfish for setting boundaries and putting my own needs first last night. I’m fully aware that not everybody will understand my absence, or think it was the right decision to make, but it was the right decision for me."
Revealing why she said 'no' to the final, Ekin continued: "I chose to remove myself from a potentially uncomfortable situation that I preferred to avoid. I’m proud of myself for recognising what I need during this time, despite the hate that might come my way. Accountability is key and when I’m ready, I will give some context around these past few weeks. Thank you to everybody who has sent kindness my way, I see you, and I appreciate you. The new chapter starts now."
She concluded: "I hope everybody enjoyed watching the CBB final. A huge congratulations to David for the win. Xx." There was a lot of concern for Ekin-Su after she failed to appear on Lorraine Kelly's show on ITV after her eviction. Ekin-Su had a tough exit from Big Brother and many have reminded fans to be kind as they saw the constant backlash she got.
