Jennifer Lopez has opened up about her "tumultuous" relationship with Diddy and revealed the rapper was the first man to cheat on her.
The 54-year-old songstress has gone into detail about her relationship with the 54-year-old rapper. The duo dated from 1999 to 2001 and J Lo claimed that Diddy was the first man to be unfaithful to her - but was not the ex who "manhandled" her.
On Monday, Sean 'Diddy' Combs' Los Angeles and Miami homes were raided by the Department of Homeland Security. The raids come after several cases and allegations of sexual assault against Diddy came out over the past few months.
It is not the first time Diddy has hit the headlines. The Bad Boy for Life hitmaker’s "crazy" relationship with Jennifer was often the subject of considerable speculation during the late 90s and early 2000s.

Jennifer previously opened up about her and Diddy’s history, explaining that the duo met just as she was entering stardom and preparing for the release of her debut album, which he helped to produce. Talking to CBS in 2019, she said: "He became kind of a mentor to me in that moment. We had this kind of crazy, tumultuous relationship that ended in a bang."
The couple was together for two years before going their separate ways in 2001, with J Lo claiming that when the controversial rapper cheated on her it was the first time she had experienced infidelity. Speaking to Vibe magazine in 2003, she said: "It was the first time I was with someone who wasn’t faithful." Adding: "I never caught him but I just knew. He’d say he was going to a club for a couple of hours and then never come back that night."
Inside the heartbreak
The star also added that the relationship, and Diddy’s infidelity, took her to some pretty dark places. She said: "I was totally crying, crazy and going nuts, it really took my whole life in a tailspin."
Earlier this year, J Lo - who has since found happiness with Ben Affleck - opened up about her past abusive relationships in her tell-all documentary The Greatest Love Story Never Told. The star described being "thrown around" and "manhandled" by lovers - but did not disclose who.
According to insiders, the abusive relationship described in J Lo's documentary was not that with Diddy. Speaking to The Daily Mail, a source said the singer had been referring to a different past relationship.
