BARCELONA are reportedly planning for a brutal transfer clearout, with Robert Lewandowski among those available.

The reigning La Liga champions are bracing for next season with Xavi in charge after the club legend performed a U-turn to stay.

But according to The Athletic, there will be some changes around the Nou Camp.

It is claimed Barca are looking to make big sales in the summer with Lewandowski no longer considered "untouchable".

Instead, only Lamine Yamal, Pau Cubarsi and Gavi are seen to have that status.

Lewandowski joined from Bayern Munich in 2022 for £42.5million and has since won one league title in Spain.

And despite form this season remaining consistent, with 23 goals in all competitions, his time at the Nou Camp remains in question.

The Pole, 35, has been linked with a move to Saudi Arabia or MLS in America.

But it is believed the former Borussia Dortmund and Bayern Munich forward wants at least another year with Barca.

Manager Xavi - who has favoured winger Ferran Torres up front at times this season - was probed on his No9's future.

And he said: “I am not going to speak about anyone’s future as I don’t think it’s helpful for us. I am happy with Robert.

"The work he does for the team is extraordinary, an outstanding footballer and an example for the dressing room on the way he conducts himself.

"That’s why he scored a hat-trick. I am delighted for him.”
