It's been more than a decade since Rosie O'Sullivan was on Britain's Got Talent (BGT), with her life now quite different from how it was when she competed on the talent show.

The singer-songwriter, now 29, reached the semi-finals of the ITV show back in 2013, after having received a standing ovation from the judges at her audition. Simon Cowell said at the time that Rosie had a "really authentic soul voice".

She's continued to perform at gigs in the decade since then and has worked on new music over the years, with her latest single, Crazy Beautiful, released last year. Rosie's also a vocal coach and the musician is understood to have previously launched her own singing academy, ROSA, in 2016.

Rosie has attracted attention over weight loss since her time on BGT, with her said to have lost 17 stone some years ago following surgery. The London College of Music graduate spoke about the experience in an interview back in 2017.

She told the Sun at the time that she was nearly 30 stone when she appeared on BGT four years earlier. She recalled having "struggled" to walk up stairs and being a size 28. The former contestant said that she "hit a real low" at the time.

Rosie said that whilst she was "active," including going to gym, she was "obsessed" with food. She made the decision to undergo gastric sleeve surgery privately in 2014, with her said to have lost five stone in the first three months.

The performer, who was initially on a liquids-only diet after the procedure, reportedly lost 13 stone within a year of the operation. She's said to have later had a 'tummy tuck' and bi-lateral thigh reduction in 2017 due to excess skin.

Rosie has made headlines with her weight loss over the years, but took to Instagram in 2019 to assert that her life since BGT has also involved career achievements too. Addressing an article about former contestants' lives since the show, she wrote: "Not just weight loss [that I've been up to]. Two studio albums, American artist collaborations, gigs around the world and a radio show. I told you this would be the year."

Rosie now refers to her figure as a "mom bod" in posts on the platform, having welcomed son Patrick, now one, in 2022. She wrote upon his arrival: "Love is a simple four letter word that we think we understand. I didn't until I saw you."

Sharing a photo of herself last week, Rosie teased: "That time I took mom bod out for a drink." The selfie showed her posing in a bathroom whilst modelling a black dress. She was met with compliments from some followers over it.
