A TARGET employee was shamed for one piece of clothing she wore to work.
TikTok user @Toadsucker42069 admitted to being dress coded while she was working at Target for wearing distressed jeans, but she doesn't understand why.
The hardworking Target devotee posted a video addressing the situation.
She closes in on the camera so the large rips in her black denim are visible.
On top, she's wearing her short-sleeve collared red Target uniform shirt with a long-sleeve shirt underneath.

And while her skinny jeans are majorly distressed, the employee is wearing tights to cover her exposed skin.
Her caption reads: "I got dress coded for my pants being 'on brand,' but the pink shirts my coworkers wear are Target brand?"
"Just got told not to wear them again," she says.
Admittedly, this is the second time she's gotten in trouble for those jeans.
Yet, she proclaims the head of human resources and store director don't mind the pants.
One fellow employee expressed her thoughts.
"I work at target and this seems completely in dress code to me," she said.
However, another Target worker explained why those jeans are a problem.
"Because u can’t wear jeans with holes & the dress code is preferably blue or khaki jeans.. read the handbook," she asserted.
The video creator responded: "Me store is very lax with our dress code, i’ve certainly seen more not on brand outfits.. it’s one specific tl that is the only one who cares."
