A Strictly Come Dancing star, 50, secretly welcomed their third baby without anyone noticing.

When it comes to famous people having babies, lots of them like to tell everyone about their happy news. But one Strictly Come Dancing star decided to keep things very quiet as they secretly welcomed a new baby without fans even knowing. Welsh runner, Iwan Thomas, 50, who was on the show in 2015 with his dance partner Ola Jordan, has now told everyone that he has a new baby boy with his long-term girlfriend.

His partner, who has kept her name out of the spotlight, had gave birth to their baby back in February. The Olympic medal winner has since said the baby is called Bowie. Sharing his happy news on social media, Iwan posted two pictures of the lovely new baby, with the words: "It's a tough life being nearly 2 weeks old #cute #baby #boy #Bowie #tired."

After the announcement, friends and family filled the comments with messages saying congratulations and how surprised they were that Iwan had kept the happy news a secret. Among the famous people to say congratulations was Dancing on Ice star Greg Rutherford who sweetly said: "SO CUTE! ! ! !"

Fans also commented, as one said: "Oh you've had another baby, so cute Congratulations xx." Another added: "You must be so proud". Little Bowie is the latest addition to the family and will join Teddy, 5 and Dougie, 2. Teddy, the oldest brother, had a tough start when he was born premature and struggled with "trouble breathing" as a newborn.

He was diagnosed with a serious infection from Group Strep B. His father Iwan turned this into a positive by raising awareness about this dangerous bacteria. Thankfully, Teddy made a full recovery and looks like he's taking his big brother duties very seriously. Even though it's been nearly ten years since Iwan danced on Strictly Come Dancing, his fans still remember him fondly. He was the first one to be eliminated in his series, which was ultimately won by The Wanted singer Jay McGuiness dancing with professional Aliona Vilani.

Iwan hasn't rested after Strictly, he has appeared on many other reality shows such as Celebrity Hunted, The Wright Stuff, Through The Keyhole, and even showed off his cooking skills on Celebrity MasterChef. The sports star previously admitted that as a high performance athlete he used to be “very selfish” but then his world revolved around his sons. Speaking to Express.co.uk, he said fatherhood “puts things into perspective” as he gushed over his precious boys.

“Being a dad just totally shifts your mindset about everything really. You know, I've spent my whole life being you know, a sportsman and having to be very selfish and single minded and focused on myself only but obviously now being a dad. Nothing’s about me anymore. It’s all about the boys," he shared.
