Bayern Munich boss Thomas Tuchel has conceded the Bundesliga title race is over - claiming they have "no hope" of catching Bayer Leverkusen.
The German giants slumped to their fifth league defeat of the season on Saturday afternoon - this time against fierce rivals Borussia Dortmund. Goals from Karim Adeyemi and Julian Ryerson were enough for die Schwarzgelben at the Allianz Arena.
Bayern’s latest defeat leaves them 13 points behind leaders Leverkusen with seven games of the season left to play. And Tuchel believes that his side will be unable to overturn that deficit.
Asked if Bayern were out of the title race, the former Chelsea boss replied: "Yes, of course. This is clear. Naturally, I have no hope anymore. No no no. After today’s game, I do not need to tell you anything more. How many points behind are we? 13?” Congratulations to Leverkusen."
