Vanessa Feltz is joining LBC to host a new Saturday programme after quitting TalkTV.
The This Morning presenter is joining the radio station as part of a refreshed weekend schedule and will host her first show this weekend. A hugely popular journalist and presenter, Vanessa is joining the UK’s number one commercial news talk brand to front her own Saturday afternoon show, from 3pm to 6pm, offering opinion, analysis and a deep dive on what matters to the British public.
Vanessa said: “After a long and passionate courtship, I’ve finally succumbed to the allure of LBC. Actually I was powerless to resist. Global’s dynamism is mesmerising and it is THE high octane station from which to broadcast, in this riveting election year. I can’t wait to join the Global family and get cracking. Brace yourself for May 4th – May the fourth be with you!”
As part of the schedule shake-up at the station, Sangita Myska is leaving the station at the end of her contract, after nearly two years. LBC’s Senior Managing Editor added: “We’d like to thank Sangita for her fantastic contribution to LBC and we wish her every success in the future.”
It comes after speculation on social media over Sangita's position after listeners were left concerned she had been taken off air. Sangita has now been on air since 14 April and had been replaced by former Conservative Party parliamentary candidate and commentator, Ali Miraj.

Some listeners suggested Sangita's exit was linked to an interview she conducted with an Israeli government spokesperson the day after Iran launched an unprecedented missile and drone attack on Israel.
Her sudden departure from the radio station led to an outpouring of support, and almost 25,000 people signed a petition to calling for LBC to reinstate her. Vanessa is not a direct replacement for Sangita but is part of a wider schedule shake-up. Ali's temporary takeover of Sangita's slot is now permanent.

The This Morning host quit TalkTV last week following the channel's announcement of its plan to move to streaming platforms by the summer.
She said: “I've had the most fabulous two years at TalkTV. It's been a joy and a revelation to work on a fledgling station. Among many experiences, it was my honour to break the news of the passing of Her Majesty, the Queen to viewers and broadcast live throughout that momentous time.
“As TalkTV steps back from linear TV, it’s time for me to also step back and focus on my other commitments and new projects ahead.” LBC announced Vanessa's new show as part of a wider schedule shake-up on the radio station.
Earlier in the week, LBC announced a brand new flagship Sunday morning politics show for The News Agents co-host Lewis Goodall as the station gears up for a huge year in British politics as the country heads towards a general election.
