ONE Betfair punter is BANG in contention to win a monster £10,000 from a tenner… but success hinges entirely on Arsenal beating Manchester City to the Premier League title.

The bettor placed a £10 pre-season football accumulator on the winners of each of England's top four divisions at sizeable odds of around 1000/1.

Stockport were crowned champions of League Two after a victory over Notts County on April 16, while Portsmouth beat Barnsley the same day to secure their return to the Championship as League One winners.

This mystery punter then had to wait a few weeks before Leicester thumped Preston 3-0 to ensure their promotion to the Premier League as winners of the Championship.

But everything now rests on Arsenal.

The Gunners are currently top of the division by a single point, but favourites Manchester City have a crucial game in hand and will clinch their fourth successive title if victorious in their remaining four matches.

Arsenal's remaining fixtures include Bournemouth, Manchester United and Everton, while City's run-in includes Wolves, Fulham, Tottenham and West Ham.

City are currently 2/5 to win their sixth title in seven years, while Arsenal are offered at 2/1 to capitalise if their rivals slip up.

That all leaves our savvy punter with a big decision to make: Cash Out or let it ride…

Bookmakers Betfair have revealed that the cash out offer stands at around £3,000 and many on X are advising the bettor to take the money and run!
