Rami Hawash, the fiancé of reality TV royalty Gemma Collins, has shared the heartbreaking news on Instagram that his father has passed away.

In a touching tribute to his late dad, Rami posted a photo of the pair dressed in suits, smiling together. The emotional caption read: "I have no words. You was the BEST DAD in the world. Today heaven gained the best Angel #restinpeace."

Supporters, including Gemma herself, rushed to share their condolences in the comments section. Gemma remembered Rami's dad fondly, writing: "Lovely man Ram. I never forget how he loved to watch Mirander." Saffron Lempriere, Gemma's co-star from Towie, also extended her deepest sympathies, penning: "So sorry for your loss," along with a red heart emoji.

An Instagram follower reflected: "So sorry to hear this sad news. Your father's spirit lives and surrounds you all forever." Another offered heartfelt words of support, saying: "Oh Rami, this is so sad. Sending you all my love always."

The sorrowful news arrives as Gemma and Rami are planning to get married. The pair first got engaged 11 years ago but separated, only to find their way back to each other during lockdown after a chance encounter at a music concert. Additionally, just last week, Gemma candidly discussed some of the challenges she has faced in her life on the Everything I Know About Me podcast, disclosing that she has tragically had three miscarriages.

Gemma Collins opened up about her heart-wrenching experiences with miscarriage during the first Covid-19 lockdown while she was with her ex, James Argent. During a tearful interview on Loose Women in 2020, she shared the deep pain of losing a baby with "someone I loved very much". She revealed to the panel: "It's not easy to fall pregnant. I did suffer a miscarriage, which was really sad, during the lockdown period."

In another devastating revelation, Gemma recounted a miscarriage in 2012 when she prematurely delivered her baby at home, an ordeal she finds difficult to discuss even now. On her podcast, she disclosed: "I actually gave birth to a child, sadly, and basically the child was four months old."

"Basically I had a miscarriage but obviously the baby was formed and it died in front of me. I had to go to the hospital and my mum was there. I can remember my mum being really upset, I was in shock, I was upset."

"That was really a shocking moment for me. But this is what I'm saying, I can talk about it now. Things sometimes are not meant to be." She has since revealed her plans to ask for the help of a surrogate.
