Whether it’s a last minute long weekend or a tropical holiday you’ve had planned for years, when it comes to your packing list there are some essentials that no traveller can do without. For Millie Mackintosh, that list includes must-haves like packing cubes, travel bottles and a universal adaptor plug to make packing for her last minute holiday to Greece a breeze.

The former Made in Chelsea star took to her Instagram last week to share some of the items she can’t travel without, and all of them are ideal when it comes to saving space and keeping her things organised and tidy in her suitcase.

First up on her list are the OrgaWise Packing Organiser Cube 9 Pieces, (was £24.99), which she says are key to helping her with over packing. The set comes with eight different packing cubes and a handy toiletry bag to help keep your clothes, shoes, cosmetics, electronics and toiletries separate and neatly organised ready to unpack at the other end. They’re also handy for separating dirty clothes from clean ones during your holiday, so when you get home you know exactly what needs to be washed.

Although the set comes with an included toiletries bag, Millie also shared that she loves using her own reusable bag to keep her makeup and cosmetics together. Although we couldn’t find the exact one she uses, this Revolution Pro Miracle Travel Bag, (was £12), is a great alternative.

She also showed exactly how she keeps her toiletries organised, opting for the Opret 100ml Silicone Travel Bottles, (was £9.99), to decant things like shampoo, conditioner and body cream into before travelling. The bottles are the perfect size to go through airport security in your hand luggage, and the different colours mean you can easily identify what product is in each one.

Millie also uses the FERYES Travel Makeup Brush Holder, , to keep her makeup brushes clean and separate from other products, which prevents makeup transferring onto other things. The silicone holder is also flexible and easy to clean, making it a great handy addition to your travel bag.

Other practical essentials include the Universal Travel Adapter Worldwide, (was £15.99), which means you never get caught out without a plug adaptor again. Rather than having to take multiple ones to make sure one fits or realising too late that you brought the wrong one, these are a great way to make sure you’re always prepared to charge up your electronics wherever you are in the world.

Another practical essential is Millie’s go-to Aufisi Clear Travel Toiletry Bags, (was £4.39), which measure 20x20cm and hold up to 1L of liquids, making them fully airport security approved. She finished off her video with the BNFGD Hat Clip for Bag Travel, , which she clips onto her bag and uses to hang sun hats from so they don’t get squashed or damaged whilst travelling.
