X-factor icon Dannii Minogue has received a flurry of praise after revealing she identifies as 'queer' in a rare glimpse of her personal life.
The Australian TV star, who is the host of BBC Three's LGBTQ+ dating show I Kissed A Boy has long been a gay icon thanks to chart-topping bops and legendary bob hairdo. She has recently been brushing up on the queer lingo used to describe lesbians such as 'femme' and 'masc' after joining the Beeb show last year, and recently declared: "I identify as queer in a weird way," later referring to female contestants as 'hot'.
In a tearful admission, she told contestants: "You girls are so brave and amazing and have brought so much to it. I could never do what you have done. I will always be in awe of what has happened and what we've created. I feel so proud." But, little is known about the celeb's private life, including her rarely-seen boyfriend Adrian Newman.

The pair were spotted holding hands in a car following a Children In Need event, and Danni once announced she couldn't wait to be 'up close and personal on a daily basis with Simon'.
But, she denies ever fancying the music mogul, stating: "That man could flirt with a book, a wall, anything. I don't fancy him and I don’t have a type I go for, but I like a man who makes me laugh, who's intelligent and speaks his mind."

According to an unauthorised biography titled Sweet Revenge: The Intimate Life of Simon Cowell, the judge was quoted saying: "I had a crush on her. It was Dannii's hair, the sexy clothes and the t**s. It was genuine love." Simon is also said to have described Dannii as 'foxy'.
However, Dannii has refused to comment on the romance, telling the Mirror: "If he (the author) says it's the truth then that's what he's saying. But I don't have anything to do with that."
After leaving the drama-riddled show in 2010, Danni moved back to Australia and welcomed her son Ethan with then-boyfriend Kris Smith. Two years later and the couple split, with Kris saying the couple used to get into 'silly bickering arguments'.

But for the last decade, the TV personality has been dating Adrian Newman, who OK! believes to be a musician and producer. Appearing on KIIS FM's Kyle and Jackie show last year, Dannii was asked about her 'new secret bloke'.
She responded: "It's not a secret! You ask me this every time, we've been going out for nine years! Every time anyone prints a picture of him they go 'secret man', 'never seen'[but] he's just not interested in anything to do with the public eye." In 2018, the star referred to Newman as 'beautiful' and 'super private' and it looks like nothing much has changed since then.
