David Moyes insists there has been no major bust up with West Ham’s technical director Tim Steidten but warned every manager has boundaries that must not be crossed.
Steidten has been barred from entering the dressing room for the remainder of the season as he puts potential succession plans in place for Moyes.
The Scot’s contract expires next month and he has repeatedly stressed no decision will be made over his future until the campaign ends. West Ham have already held discussions with Julen Lopetegui and Ruben Amorim and are hopeful of appointing the former, who walked out on Wolves as the season began.
But Moyes played down talk of a falling out with Steidten and said: “We don’t want any distractions, we keep our eye on the ball.
“Tim’s got his job to do, I’ve got my job to do. We’ve got three games to play and we want to keep focused on those. We’re just going about our jobs. My job is to win the games and I’ll do everything I can to do that.”

He would not take any further questions on where those boundaries lie but added: “I don't want anything to distract the players.
“We're only a few weeks until the end of the season and we've made it very clear for a long time that there will be a decision at the end of the season.”
Moyes, 60, says regardless of his future in East London he remains “a football nut” with no designs on retirement. “I’ve got a great hunger,” he added.
While Amorim has turned down West Ham and apologised to fans of Sporting Lisbon for flying to London for a meeting at the beginning of last week, the Hammers are hopeful of agreeing a deal with Lopetegui. The ex-Wolves boss appeared certain to join Milan last weekend only to back out of that deal.
Lopetegui is now the clear favourite to take over but the Hammers also have held interest in Hansi Flick. Former Chelsea and Brighton head coach Graham Potter has not been part of their considerations.
