Two England fans fought with each other in an ugly clash before the Three Lions friendly win over Bosnia on Monday.
One of the supporters grabbed the other by the leg and yanked him to the ground. The pair then grappled on the ground on the edge of the pavement. One had his jacket pulled off as the tussle ensued near the road busy with traffic.
The area was full of Three Lions fans as they made their way to St James’ Park. One mum, walking with her family, said: “What the hell are they doing?”
The fight happened at Gallowgate in Newcastle city centre — just metres from the stadium. One witness filmed it in a 13-second video on their mobile phone, as reported on Need To Know.
One fan sarcastically said: “Best fans in the world.” Another joked: “Get a room.” A third said: “Germany should be fun," with a fourth suggesting they were “living up to the stereotype.”

After beating Bosnia, Southgate told Channel 4 : “Physically, it was a good workout. We just had to be patient. We felt that in the end we would create the chances and that's how it turned out.
“The scoreline reflected the performance. I think scoring more was inevitable. We had a lot of fresh players to bring on as well. There weren't a lot of caps in the team that started so there was always a chance there would be a sticky start.”
Youngsters Jarrad Branthwaite and Adam Wharton made senior England their debuts from the bench, with captain and star striker Kane also coming on as a substitute in the second half before scoring his 63rd international goal. “Our plan [with Kane] today was half an hour. He will start on Friday and he looks in good shape," Southgate added.
“The great thing is we have got through the last few days with no big problems. That's really important, we needed to get through these few matches.
“I may have a few more selection headaches after tonight but that's a good thing. I would rather we had good performances that caused you to think than poor performances. There were lots of individual things I was really pleased with.”
