After retirement in 2018, Cole took up a coaching role at Chelsea.
He is now working as a pundit on BT Sport.

Cole is regarded as one of the most talented English players of his generation and one of the most technically gifted English players of all time.
His football career started at West Ham United, breaking into the first team in January 1999.

Cole left the club in the summer of 2003 after the club had been relegated to the Football League First Division, along with a number of other players.
Joe then went on to sign for Chelsea.
He spent seven seasons at Chelsea, playing more than 280 games in all competitions and winning seven trophies, including three Premier League titles, two FA Cups and a League Cup.
He left Chelsea on a free transfer in July 2010 to join Liverpool, a year later loaned him to Lille.
After just one season he returned to Liverpool before re-joining West Ham in January 2013.

For the 2024 competition, the England side will have three co-managers.
Former Chelsea legend Frank Lampard has been appointed as one of them.

Soccer Aid 2024 kicks off from Stamford Bridge on June 9.
