A security guard got the fright of his life after catching a 'ghost' playing in a wheelchair in an empty hospital hallway. The man explained how he has never before experienced 'anything spooky' when on shift at a hospital - but says this 'encounter' will stay in his mind forever.

When sharing a video on Reddit, he said: "This was about a year ago. I do security at a hospital. The chair was on the other side of the hallway on my first patrol, and on my second patrol, this is what I had found. This is really the only time I've ever experienced anything spooky like this. Never really was a believer until this happened."

  • 'I caught my mum sleeping with my husband - I can't erase the image from my mind'
  • The 24-second clip shows an empty hallway with a wheelchair abandoned in the middle of the walkway. It isn't until about the 19-second mark that the wheelchair begins to spin around to face his direction. Following this, the man runs away screaming: "See! See! I f***ing [old you]. No. No. No. No. No."

He added: "I never went back down there until my following shift. By then the chair was folded up against a wall. Hadn't seen anything weird since." Commenting on the creepy clip, one user said: "I use to volunteer at a hospital that was built in the early 20th century. There was always weird stuff going on there. Nice catch on this video."

Another user added: "You can tell he's freaking out and yet he stuck around just long enough! I agree, really nice catch!" A third user said: "Your reaction is priceless!" One more user added: "Anytime I go somewhere that seems haunted I wish stuff like this happens to me just cause I’m not a big believer of paranormal stuff, but then again I wouldn’t know how to react."
