Actress Sofia Vergara has revealed she had concerns over showing her body and "looking horrific" with her cellulite on show when she filmed Netflix's Griselda.
The series, which saw 51-year-old Vergara transformed as Griselda Blanco, featured a raunchy bedroom scene with co-star Alberto Guerra, who played Griselda's husband, Dario Sepulveda.
Speaking at a Netflix press conference the Columbian actress revealed she hasn't filmed sex scenes in her career, and now she's over 50 it left her 'worried'.

I think I was worried that I was going to look horrific. I was like, 'Where are they shooting me? The cellulite? From the side?' Uh, I'm vain I guess."

The series for Netflix features Vergara as Griselda Blanco, as the ambitious Colombian businesswoman who rose from obscurity to become 'The Godmother' of the drugs industry. Rising to prominent fame in the 1970s before her later arrest in 1985, Blanco became one of the most prominent drug lords alongside names like Pablo Escobar and Carlos Lehder.
The role saw Vergara take on a very different image to the glamorous one she's best known for, and earlier this year the Modern Family star candidly admitted her future plans to undergo plastic surgery procedures. She confessed to having Botox "for a long time" around her eyes and neck and has plans for more.
She told Allure: "I feel like I'm going to do every plastic surgery that I can do when I'm ready. I wish I had more downtime; I would've done stuff already. [But] because I'm in front of the camera, it's not like I can do something and then sit in my house recuperating for weeks."

"I don't believe in filler," she asserted. Sofia added: "I feel filler does good when you're really young and you want a little bit more cheeks or to plump your lips a little bit. At my age - 51 - I feel it's not going to make you look younger. It is going to make you look more done. And I feel like it actually doesn't pull you up; it kind of weighs [you down]. So I am against that, once you hit a certain age."
Speaking with PEOPLE, Sofia confessed that she's open to trying almost anything in the name of beauty. She declared: "I mean, you tell me to put cement under your eye, you're going to look younger, I'll do it immediately. I do it all. It's like I put coconut oil on my head. I put it on my feet. I've wrapped myself in plastic with Aquaphor up to the neck. I'll do it. I don't care. It's not stupid."
The actress also revealed that she doesn't see herself embracing the natural ageing process anytime soon. She stated: "I don't think I am going to ever be the woman that has the courage to be, like, all-white hair."
