Cleaning the oven isn't most people's idea of a good time.

However, one woman has showed people how to make it an easier task with her clever cleaning hack.

The lady, named Auri, shared her tip on TikTok under her @aurikatariina handle, with it also making its way on to Instagram too. And people have been going wild for the 'life-changing' tip.

Starting the video, Auri tells viewers: "This hack will change your life."

She then instructs to spray oven cleaner on the burnt surface and then place cling film on top of it. You then wait 24 hours and the stains should have 'melted off'.

Auri then recommends scrubbing the oven with a Scour Daddy, which she brands 'so satisfying'. After that, you wipe it clean and put some stove polisher on it and it's done.

The video was shared on Instagram, with it being declared as "The best cleaning hack ever". And it seemed like a lot of people agreed, with the post racking up thousands of likes.

"It turned out wonderful," exclaimed one person, while others wanted to know what products were used. However, people hit back at the questions, saying any oven cleaner in the shops should work.

The hack comes after another oven cleaning tip to remove grime and grease from the glass hit headlines this week.

Cleaning oven glass can often be a real drag, as it's not just splattered with grease and food, but these can also get burnt onto the surface, making it stubborn to remove.

However, Erin, a natural cleaning guru and founder of Lemons Lavender and Laundry, has revealed that cleaning an oven doesn't have to be a daunting task - all you need is one ingredient you probably already have in your kitchen – baking soda.

Baking soda is alkaline, which means its high pH level can break down acidic substances like grease or burnt food. It's also mildly abrasive, so it can easily wipe away grime without scratching the glass.

Erin added: "While using baking soda takes a little more time and effort than using an oven cleaner, it certainly does the job; and without harmful chemicals."
