Patrick Mahomes, the Kansas City Chiefs quarterback and three-time Super Bowl winner, has seen his off-field investments skyrocket as his latest venture became Amazon's top-selling ready-to-drink coffee.

The NFL superstar's recent enterprise shot to the top of an Amazon chart just hours after he was spotted wearing a T-shirt emblazoned with "THRONE SPORT COFFEE."

Mahomes added the coffee brand to his extensive investment portfolio and has already begun reaping the benefits following his promotional stunt. Michael Fedele, Founder and CEO, acknowledged that the NFL star's endorsement had created "quite a bump".

On the brand's official website, Mahomes expressed his pride in being part of Throne SPORT COFFEE and introducing a superior iced coffee to the public.

"We have been working on creating the perfect product for those who are always on-the-go, who are looking for a natural energy source with added benefits and I couldn't be more excited about being in on the ground floor of building this brand," said Mahomes.

His status as the face of the NFL has made him an ideal partner for companies and products across the United States. His venture into investing in his own coffee brand demonstrates the incredible influence he wields.

The 28 year old has expanded his impressive portfolio by partnering with Throne, adding to a hefty list of endorsements that includes big names like Adidas, Coors Light, State Farm, Subway, and T-Mobile ever since he clinched his first Super Bowl in 2020. His lucrative deals span across various brands such as Oakley, BioSteel, BOSS, CommunityAmerica Credit Union, Essentia Water, Head and Shoulders, Hy-Vee, Hyperice, Whoop, and AirShare.

Talking to Forbes, Mahomes shared insights into his business ventures: "I've partnered with people I believe in, and some have worked, and some haven't worked," he said. "But I think if you have the passion, the belief that you can make stuff happen, that's what I look to invest in."

Opening up about his personal connection with Fedele, Mahomes explained why he became the face of the brand: "I love coffee. I drink it a lot. But I don't like to put sugar in it," he remarked. "I don't like to put all the added stuff in there. So, I wanted to find a healthier version so I can help my body not have that dad bod."

Throne's website boasts that each can is loaded with 150 milligrams of natural caffeine, alongside premium Arabica coffee, B vitamins, electrolytes potassium and sodium, natural flavors and sweeteners, and BCAAs leucine, isoleucine, and valine, ensuring it meets the NSF certification for sport.
