Narinder Kaur has hit out at Elon Musk after he waded into her controversy with Laurence Fox.

Last week, actor-turned-politician Laurence Fox shared an unauthorised 'upskirt photo' of broadcaster and actress Kaur that exposed her while seated in a vehicle. Fox uploaded the picture to social media on Wednesday night, seemingly to mock Kaur's political stances and her criticism of former glamour model Leilani Dowding.

Kaur took to her own account where she declared the incident involving Fox is now in the hands of the police. The image, which was originally taken by paparazzi many years ago, was shared by Fox on X - formerly Twitter - as he added a snide remark alongside the photo : "I for one applaud the celebration of modesty which Narinder highlighted in her criticism of @LeilaniDowding for getting her b**s out. We need standards in public life."

Upskirting became a criminal offence in the UK in 2019 and after the photo of Kaur was taken. Following widespread backlash, the photograph of Kaur has since been scrubbed from various online platforms. It was circulated without Kaur's knowledge or consent. On Sunday, X owner Elon Musk commented 'wow' under a post from Fox in which he fumed that a number of elected individuals in the the latest elections are all Muslim, even when some of them aren’t.

Kaur responded to Elon's comment as she wrote: "Yes, it is indeed 'wow' it took 2 days for an upskirt photo of me to be taken down by your platform despite hundreds of people reporting it." She added: "I should add an 'illegal' upskirt photo." Kaur then responded to a follower: "Yes...hundreds and hundreds reported it. Probably near thousands...And it stayed up there regardless.."

She has received support from Jeremy Vine, having made regular appearances on his Channel 5 show. Vine shared a link to the Mirror's report regarding Fox's sharing of the photo and added: "Wishing ⁦@narindertweets well... this is nasty Laurence Fox posts indecent photo of TV host from 17 years ago." One Twitter user named Amy replied to Vine's tweet, writing: "Beyond vile. Let’s hope the @metpoliceuk hurry up and do their job." Kaur, who often appears on Vine's Channel 5 show, replied to both accounts and wrote: "Amy..you have been a God send. I will forever be grateful to you and Jeremy."

Kaur took to Twitter on Thursday morning, sharing a link to the Mirror's article about Fox's behaviour and stated: "This is now a police matter." The Met Police confirmed their awareness of the incident to the Mirror, as they said: "We have been made aware of a post on social media regarding an up-skirting offence and we are currently working to establish the circumstances."

Fox, who has recently been slapped with a hefty £180,000 legal bill for defaming two individuals on Twitter, vowed to move out of London this summer - in protest over the re-election of Sadiq Khan as Mayor and amid backlash over the 'upskirting' incident.
