Tom Brady, the NFL legend, seemed to confess his involvement in the infamous 'Deflategate' scandal during "The Roast of Tom Brady", which aired live on Netflix over the weekend.

This revelation earned him a standing ovation from his former New England Patriots head coach Bill Belichick. 'Deflategate' is one of the most notorious scandals in NFL history, where it was found that the footballs were underinflated in the first half of the Patriots' win over the Colts in the AFC Championship game.

After an investigation by the league, Brady was suspended for four games and the Patriots had to forfeit two draft picks. Now, with his career behind him, boasting seven Super Bowls, five Super Bowl MVPs, and three NFL MVPs, Brady seems to have admitted his part in the scandal.

"Remember Deflategate?" Brady quipped during his roast. "The NFL spent $20 million and found that it was more probable than not that I was generally aware and someone may have deflated my footballs."

"You could have just given me the $20 million and I would have just told you I fking did it. You know what I'm saying, boys? You know what I'm saying?"

The roast also saw Brady's split from Gisele Bundchen become a hot topic. "Gisele gave you an ultimatum. She said you have to retire or you're done. But when you have a chance to go 8-9 you gotta do it," Kevin Hart joked, before suggesting Brady left Belichick in the lurch when he left New England.

Hart declared: "You ------ him good. You did, Tom, you ------ your coach, but let me tell you something people ... that's what you've got to do to maintain your happiness. You sometimes got to ---- your coach. You know who else ------ their coach? Gisele. She fked that karate man."

Belichick took the opportunity to take a jab at Brady and his newly acquired sports team, Birmingham City, mocking their recent shift to a lower league in English Football : "I see your soccer team Birmingham City got knocked down to another tier in the English Football League," Belichick jested. "For those not familiar with English football and the intricacies of the obscure relegation system, just let me say, I'll put it in English for you they suck. Not so easy running a team is it Tom? ".

Upon hearing this, Brady came back with a playful proposition, suggesting that Belichick, the now free agent, could potentially try his hand coaching the Blues in Englands League One next season.

However, jokes aside, its important to remember that Belichick left New England being referred to as its best-ever head coach, backed by his stellar stats. Over his time coaching the Patriots, he secured a robust 30-12 record in playoffs games, which were prominently complemented by an impressive 6-3 record in Super Bowls.
