KIM Kardashian sent fans into a frenzy with her latest Met Gala look that showcased an almost impossibly tiny waist.
The famously curvy star arrived at the star-studded annual New York event with her hourglass figure pushed to the extreme in a corseted silver dress.
In the custom Margiela by John Galliano look, Kim kept to the Garden Of Time red carpet theme with the outfit covered in silver metal lace, flowers, and floral motifs.
The fashion house confirmed the look contained mirror fragments, crystal pendants and pearls, and set like a piece of jewellery.
The couture corset made from antique silver brocade, and sucked the star in at the wait to accentuate her hips and bust more than ever before.

She completed the look with long blonde hair, and a pale grey cashmere cardigan that she wore over her shoulders.
This is not the first time Kim has gone to extreme lengths to look slim on the Met's red carpet.
In 2019, Kim wore a 'wet look' Thierry Mugler dress, which also had a corset so tight she had to learn special breathing techniques in order to wear it.
The latex gown, which was adorned in crystals, was so tight she couldn't sit down or go to the bathroom in it, saying in an episode of Keeping Up With The Kardashians she would have to wet herself and have someone clean it up should it come down to it.
She later told WSJ Magazine she had "never felt pain like that in her life, adding, "When I took it off — [there was] indentations on my back and my stomach."
In 2022, Kim caused controversy by dropping 16lbs in just three weeks in order to fit into a dress previously owned by Marilyn Monroe.
To do this, Kim said she wore a sauna suit twice a day, ran on the treadmill and completely cut out all sugar and all carbs from her diet.
The peach coloured gown, known as the 'Happy Birthday Mr President dress', was on loan to Kim, who was later accused of damaging the garment.
With this in mind, the radical look left some fans disappointed, while others claimed it was setting an unrealistic beauty standard that, in reality, even Kim herself can't maintain.
"Kim Kardashian's internal organs are shouting for help," one viewer wrote on X (formerly Twitter), while another added: "Did Kim Kardashian just show up in a torture device what the f**k is happening?"

A third added: "Kim Kardashian looks like she’s struggling to breathe in every #MetGala pic and that’s because she came directly from NYC Presbyterian after having half of her ribs removed"
While a fourth shared the same sentiment and said: "no but seriously how many ribs and other vital organs did Kim Kardashian have removed to achieve a waist like this"
Others generally just weren't impressed, with one saying: ok i'm done with kim kardashian at the #metgala. different spin on the same silhouette every year. we get it you paid millions of dollars to look like jessica rabbit."
However, there were some fans who thought her look was stunning - but thought she fell short by wearing the cardigan over her shoulders to cover up a central part of the look.
"Kim Kardashian is not doing that sickening corset justice with that tired cardigan. I don’t even want to talk about the hair I have a headache just looking at it," said one.
"Why is #KimKardashian covering up her look with a Free People cardigan?" said another. "I mean... I get it is comfortable, I own one also. But no. Nope. Definitely not."
The annual Met Gala is never short of a stunning fashion ensemble, and has become known for the standout looks on the red carpet.
The 2024 Met Gala theme centered around The Costume Institute’s spring exhibition, titled "Sleeping Beauties: Reawakening Fashion."
As such, the red carpet was a mottled seafoam green to depict the 'Garden of Time'.
Per a press release from the Metropolitan Museum of Art, the theme is meant to "reactivate the sensory capacities of masterworks in the Museum’s collection through first-hand research, conservation analysis, and diverse technologies—from cutting-edge tools, artificial intelligence, and computer-generated imagery to traditional formats of x-rays, video animation, light projection, and soundscapes."
"Approximately 250 objects spanning four centuries will be on view, visually united by iconography related to nature, which will serve as a metaphor for the fragility and ephemerality of fashion."
Vogue editor-in-chief Anna Wintour, as always, led the glitzy event, with A-listers putting their best foot forward in couture and one-of-a-kind outfits.
This year's celebrity co-chairs were Bad Bunny, Chris Hemsworth, Jennifer Lopez, and Zendaya.
Kylie wasn't the only member of her mega-famous family to hit the steps as sisters Kim, 43, and Kendall, 28, were also in attendance.
Mom Kris Jenner, 68, was also spotted in an all-white ensemble.
