PRINCESS Beatrice’s bad-boy ex had taken a deadly street drug known as benzo-dope before he overdosed in a hotel room.

An autopsy report revealed Paolo Liuzzo had taken ketamine, cocaine, fentanyl and bromazolam — a powerful new depressant linked to a rash of deaths across the US.

Fentanyl and bromazolam are often mixed by dealers to produce so-called “benzo-dope”, US authorities said in 2022.

Art consultant Liuzzo, 41, died in Miami in February from “acute combined drug toxicity”, according to the report.

It added that cops had found “extensive drug paraphernalia” but there was no sign of foul play.

It noted Liuzzo had a history of depression but had never expressed suicidal thoughts or attempted suicide.

His death was ruled to be an accident.

The New York-born socialite was 23 when he dated 17-year-old Beatrice, Prince Andrew’s oldest daughter.

Liuzzo had repeated run-ins with the law over the years including over the death of a student and cocaine possession.
