Kevin Bacon has opened up about the horrific moment he was burned in a cooking incident.
The Hollywood veteran revealed the painful moment he got burned - by eating eggs straight from the microwave. He relived the moment while he was a guest on Late Night with Seth Meyers.
Kevin had been on tour with his rock band when he got the munchies. He explained: "I'm in a rock band. We were able to do a bunch of tours. You stay in hotels that are not very high-end. They often have the free breakfast, which is like the waffles and the eggs and a couple of pieces of Cheerio."

He added: "So, I grabbed a couple of boiled eggs to take with me. Now these eggs were, I want to say peeled, but they were hard boiled. Took them to the next hotel, put them in the microwave to hear them up. Put it on a minute. All of a sudden I hear, boom!

He said: "So, I bite into the other egg, and it's a grenade going off in my mouth. It exploded in my mouth. That's a cautionary tale. Folks, I guess you have to cut it in half."
Meanwhile Kevin has admitted that he destroyed an abandoned home on his farm, after the previous owner shared his belief that it was haunted.
In order to buy the Connecticut farm back in 1983, he had to agree to knock down the out house on the property, or else the previous owner wouldn't sell the home to him. The Footloose star told listeners on Rob Lowe's Literally podcast: "One of the pieces that we bought had an old house in it and [the owner] didn’t want me to own the house. It was an abandoned house that he had grown up in.
"We kind of went back and forth on it for a while and then, eventually, I said, 'Listen, you can't sell me a piece of land but not sell me the house that’s on it. Like, that's just weird. What if you sell it and there's somebody that’s just living, basically, right up in the backyard?'"
