Beyoncé lived up to her Cowboy Carter alter-ego as she wore a cowboy hat and plunging floor-length jacket for her latest photoshoot.

The former Destiny’s Child frontwoman is certainly embracing the look after releasing her country-inspired eighth studio album in March.

She posed in a plunging floor-length jacket which flowed from the waist to show off her denim shorts and long legs. And in the new photos posted on instagram for her 318 million followers, she added huge sunglasses for accessories and wore her blonde hair down and in loose curls.

Act II: Cowboy Carter has made music history since its release March 29 with Beyonce becoming the first Black woman to have a number one country album.

Earlier this month, Dolly Parton hailed Beyonce's cover of her hit song Jolene as a "bold move". The iconic country music star, 78, expressed her surprise and admiration for the 42-year-old Texas Hold 'Em singer's unique rendition of her classic track, which first featured on Dolly's 13th studio album in 1974.

"Well, I think it was very bold of her. When they said she was gonna do Jolene, I expected it to be my regular one, but it wasn't," she disclosed. Despite Beyonce's reinterpretation of the song, the Dollywood queen insists that she "loves what she did to" Jolene. "As a songwriter, you love the fact that people do your songs no matter how they do them."

Beyonce's version features on Cowboy Carter. The original song is renowned for its depiction of a woman begging another not to steal her man. Dolly remarked on the lyrical alterations, "She wasn't gonna go beg some other woman like I did. Don't steal my man.' 'S***, get out here, b****. You ain't stealin' mine! I was very proud of her album."

She continued, lauding Beyonce's venture into country music and adding, "I thought she did a great job in country music, and I thought it was great." "And I was just happy she did Jolene. I, of course, would have loved to have heard how she would have done it in its original way. But of course, you know, it's Beyonce. Yeah, her life is different than mine," she continued to the outlet.

Beyonce's reimagined lyrics appear to directly reference Jay Z, with whom she has three children, Blue Ivy, 12, and her 6 year old twins, Rumi and Sir Carter. She sings over guitar strumming: "We've been deep in love for 20 years, I raised that man, I raised his kids, I know that man better than he knows himself."
