Long-term Liverpool target Federico Chiesa is a man in demand this summer. The Italian has been backed to leave Juventus, with new boss Thiago Motta far from convinced.

Liverpool receive Minteh boost
Sticking with Newcastle, the Reds could potentially make a move for forward Yankuba Minteh. It is suggested by The Telegraph that the Magpies might be forced to sell him to ensure they abide by the Premier League’s profit and sustainability rules.
A fee of £40m has already been put on his head. Liverpool are among the teams interested in signing him should Newcastle go forward with a sale.
New boss Slot managed Minteh during his loan spell with former club Feyenoord last season. Strong interest has also reportedly been shown by clubs in Italy and Germany.

Man Utd consider Liverpool hijack
On the topic of his former players, Liverpool boss Slot could also make a swoop for another of his former players Teun Koopmeiners. The Dutchman seems highly likely to leave Atalanta in the summer.
While a move to Anfield would seem the most obvious, Koopmeiners is interesting a number of sides. Juventus are keen to sign him, while Liverpool’s rivals Man United could also swoop for him.
As per Calciomercato, the Red Devils would be ready to pay around €60 million (£51m) to take him to Old Trafford. Koopmeiners, 26, has three years remaining on his Atalanta deal.
