Alison Hammond shared her pain after This Morning co-star Michael Mosley was found dead after going missing in Greece.
After the news of his death was announced, This Morning paid tribute to the star with a post shared on their official social media page. "We’re all heartbroken to hear that Michael Mosley has died at the age of 67. His wife Clare has paid tribute to her “wonderful, funny, kind and brilliant husband”," they wrote.
"Everyone at This Morning is thinking of Clare, their four children and the rest of Michael’s family and friends at this extremely sad time." Fellow ITV presenter Alison took to the comment section to share her anguish and commented: "So sad for his family," along with a heartbroken emoji.
Good Morning Britain star Kate Garraway wrote: "So sad - thinking of his family," while Lisa Snowdon commented: "This is utterly heartbreaking." ITV posted: "Very sad news, our thoughts are with Michael’s friends and family," while one user added: "So so sad, I loved following him and listening to his great podcasts. My heart goes out to his wife Claire and their children. How fragile life is."

The presenter, known for appearing on This Morning and BBC Radio 4's Just One Thing, was last seen on Symi where he was holidaying with his wife when he set off for a walk alone at around 1.30pm on Wednesday.

Police launched a search for him after the presenter and columnist failed to return from his walk by 7.30pm. Local authorities searched for more than three days for Dr Mosley, 67, along his walking route, along St Nicholas Beach after Clare reported him missing.
A body was found in Agia on Symi, with there later being a formal identification of the remains. The Head of Police in Symi confirmed the body was Dr Mosley. Petros Vassilakis said: “It’s him,” He said the body was identified by his personal effects and clothing. The body will now be transported to Rhodes.

It’s devastating to have lost Michael, my wonderful, funny, kind and brilliant husband. We had an incredibly lucky life together. We loved each other very much and were so happy together. I am incredibly proud of our children, their resilience and support over the past days.
“My family and I have been hugely comforted by the outpouring of love from people from around the world. It’s clear that Michael meant a huge amount to so many of you. We’re taking comfort in the fact that he so very nearly made it. He did an incredible climb, took the wrong route and collapsed where he couldn’t be easily seen by the extensive search team.
“Michael was an adventurous man, it’s part of what made him so special. We are so grateful to the extraordinary people on Symi who have worked tirelessly to help find him. Some of these people on the island, who hadn’t even heard of Michael, worked from dawn till dusk unasked.
“We’re also very grateful to the press who have dealt with us with great respect. I feel so lucky to have our children and my amazing friends. Most of all, I feel so lucky to have had this life with Michael. Thank you all.”
