A hungry punter has slammed Walkers Crisps after claiming they found a nasty surprise in their bag of Sensations.

Taking to Reddit, they shared a snap of what they claimed was the contents of their snack - a few crisps and three pieces of a mysterious brown surprise. The person fumed in the CasualUK subreddit: "Contents of a packet of Sensations. 5 crisps and a ball of seasoning? If you're reading this Walkers executive you owe me a bag of crisps."

Fellow Reddit users took to the comments section to offer explanations as to what the objects could be, with one responding in horror: "Looks like a cat s**t in your packet of crisps."

Another said: "Kinda looks like half eaten falafel." A third said: "I usually see a ball of seasoning photo and think 'mmmm, flavour', but this looks more like the contents of a nappy." Others, meanwhile, encouraged the user to complain after recalling similar experiences in the past. "Complain to them, there's a good chance they ship a whole box of crisps to you," one person recommended.

A second claimed: "I used to work for Walkers customer services (a long time ago) and they would definitely send you vouchers if you’d complained." Similarly, a third said: "I worked in the 90's for an Environmental Health team at a Local Authority and company's like Walkers and Marks & Spencer would ask us for customer details to send them a gift. They got hampers and loads of money off vouchers."

And a fourth wrote: "Write to Walkers - or have they nobbled you? Personally, I think you won a bit of a lotto - free flavouring for a fair few bags of crisps there. Could put some on your first course of toast - you've been given the keys the kingdom, son. Explore!"

The Mirror has reached out to Walkers for comment.
