The couple might be headed for divorce

Jennifer Lopez and Ben Affleck might be having some trouble in paradise.

The Hollywood couple married in 2022, 20 years after they originally got together. They first dated in the early noughties before getting engaged and calling off the relationship days before the wedding.

Then the couple got back together after both marrying and having children with other people. But reports claim that the relationship might be on the rocks.

It appears that a major difference between the two is their approach to their private lives. Jennifer likes to put everything out there, while Ben tends to be more quiet.

Ben has admitted that played a role in them breaking off the wedding in the early 2000s, so it's possible it could be a factor now. The couple talked about their differences in opinions in J.Lo's Amazon Prime documentary, The Greatest Love Story Never Told.

"I don't think he's very comfortable with me doing all this," Jennifer said about her album and accompanying movie This Is Me...Now, "But he loves me, he knows I'm an artist and he's going to support me in every way he can because he knows this is, this is - you can't stop me from making the music that I made and writing the words that I wrote."

Ben says shortly after this: "Jen was really inspired by this which is how artists do their work, they get inspired. Their personal life, they use it."

"I know as a writer and director, like, I certainly do the same things," he continued, "But things that are private I had always felt are sacred and special because in part they're private. So this was something of an adjustment for me."

It was also detailed in the documentary that Ben Affleck appeared to be mortified when Jennifer shared love letters Ben wrote her with a group of musicians. Jennifer said she saved a memory book from their earlier relationship which included romantic, handwritten letters from Ben.

In a confessional during the film, Ben said: "My book that I had given her was down there. She's like 'I've been reading it to people. This is kind of the inspiration and I've been showing them the book.' I was like you've been showing all the musicians all those letters... and they were like 'Yeah we call you Pen Affleck.' And I was like 'oh my god.'"
